The Darcys are a Canadian alternative pop duo from Toronto, made up of Jason Couse and Wes Marskell, known for their sleek, cinematic sound and evolution from moody art-rock into polished, hook-driven indie pop. After early releases with Arts & Crafts, the band earned national attention with albums like The Darcys, their bold reimagining of Steely Dan’s Aja, and Warring, which was nominated for a JUNO Award and longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. In recent years, The Darcys have continued to refine their sound through releases like Centerfold, Fear & Loneliness, and Rendering Feelings, pairing sharp production, late-night energy, and big emotional choruses with a distinctly modern Canadian edge.
