The Featured Visual Artists Lineup for Cicada Music & Arts Festival 2025 is packed with talent and creativity. There are 8 artists that will be painting 3D installations throughout the park, as well as The Niagara Mural Art and Print Tent which will be located in Thom’s Backyard.

niagara mural

NM is an Artist collective co-founded by Nick and Kat Leibfried (Frenly). Nick and Kat combine their contrasting artistic styles to create murals for residential homes and business. NM often teams up with both emerging and established artists to create impactful pieces within the Niagara community.

Creativity meets carpentry. Nick leibfried is a St. Catharines based graffiti artist, co founder of Niagara mural and Leibfried brothers contracting. His craftsmanship is undeniable. Sharp letters, structures and can control are distinct features of his work.

alex mozgial

Alex Mozgiel is an artist and graphic illustrator from Niagara Ontario. Alex’s pulls inspiration from 90’s Era graffiti, cartoons and pop culture. His unmistakable prospective can be seen throughout his work often in the form of post-apocalyptic, space age characters and letters

tuesday troup

Tuesday Troup is an emerging artist based in Jordan Station and Guelph, Ontario. Her primarily figure based work explores juxtaposing themes of 18th century art history with contemporary life. By infusing each piece with a playful and modern perspective, viewers are invited to reconsider their perceptions of high art, identity, girlhood, and the intersection between past and present.

Frenly (Kat leibfried) is an Artist and cofounder of Niagara Mural. While the format for creating is often changing there is a distinct vivid flow that weaves through every pieces.Through colour, texture and subject she explores the connections that bind community and nature.

tory osler

Tory Osler is a Guelph-based emerging artist, who primarily works with oil on canvas to create intimate stills of her life. Her work acts as a visual diary, creating a personal feeling in each work that is open for a viewer to insert themselves into. Her work features themes of dreamlike and nostalgic moments and an over-romanticization of life.
